As leaks for the upcoming iPhone are coming to the surface almost daily, a new leak has been seen on twitter, posted by ShrimpApplePro, which is a video featuring the front glass of the iPhone 15 models, highlighting that all the models of the upcoming iPhone 15 will have Dynamic island, a feature which is currently just present on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models. In the posted video, we can clearly see that there are three glasses for the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
For those who are unfamiliar, Apple introduced Dynamic Island, a replacement for the notch, with the iPhone 14 Pro models. The elongated punch hole in the glass also displays information such as notifications, battery percentage, Live Activities, and more.
The iPhone notch era will come to an end with the release of the new iPhone 15 series, although it may still make an appearance on the rumored iPhone SE 4, which is still in development.
The leaked video of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max shows thinner bezels on the front glass. The standard models (iPhone 15 and 15 Plus) are expected to have iPhone 14-like display. The Pro variants are likely to have rounded edges and thinner bezels, giving an Apple Watch-like effect.
To give a more premium and classy look, Apple is considering using titanium for the iPhone 15 Pro models. Additionally, the company could include capacitive volume and power buttons, along with a new mute switch design. The major change in the design will be the introduction of a USB Type-C port, which has been heavily rumored to be included in the new iPhones.
Other features will include the new A17 Bionic chipset (mainly for the Pro models), an improved battery, new camera upgrades, and more.
